The authors recommend their more generic app over their Route 66 specific app.
The app contains a number of points of interest along route 66 as well as away from it. There are a very limited number of maps that have some sections of some Route 66 alignments indicated on it, but it’s for sure not an end-to-end map, let alone that it doesn’t explain multiple alignment choices etc.
For any even halfway serious Route 66 trip, there are far better apps available.
