Arrowood Trading Post / Closed in Oklahoma
The Arrowood Trading Post opened in 1990. The building dates to 1952. The building formerly housed the “Chief Wolf Robe Hunt Trading Post” also known as “Catoosa Trading Post.” Wolf Robe Hunt, an Acoma Indian, sold beautiful Osage beadwork, Navajo jewelry, and Acoma pottery (supplied by relatives) at his store in Tulsa. In 1952, Hunt moved his business to Catoosa across the street from sister-in-law, Zelta Davis’s Alligator Farm and Blue Whale.
