Devil’s Elbow Bridge / Attraction in Missouri
Built in 1923, the steel truss bridge that spans the Big Piney River was originally built to facilitate the flow of traffic on the Ozark Trails highway. It carried Route 66 traffic from 1926 to 1943. in 1941 this was listed as one of the state planning commissions seven beauty spots in the state.
