Nelson’s Old Riverton Store / Attraction in Kansas
Leo Williams opened a small diner and garage at this location in 1919. After its destruction in a tornado in 1923, Williams built the current store in 1925. To bolster business during the Great Depression a croquet court was built adjacent to the store. IN 1973 the store sold to Joe and Isabell Eisler
