Odell Pedestrian Tunnel / Attraction in Illinois
Across from St. Paul’s Church is an entrance to a 1937 pedestrian tunnel locally known as the "Subway." At the time of its construction the traffic on Route 66 made the tunnel a necessity. The entrance was sealed in the 1950s.
