Red Oak II / Attraction in Missouri
A must see attraction! In 1987 artist Lowell Davis purchased homes and businesses in his boyhood home of Red Oak, a ghost town, and moved them twenty-three miles to his Fox Fire Farm near Carthage, Missouri and restored them to their original condition and named the place Red Oak II. Buildings from other fading communities were added creating a village locked in time. Through the complex Davis's unique folk art is on display giving the park a whimsical feel.
